SEASON 2021

Opening of the Birthplace of Canada for the 2021 season!

Gaspé, June 8, 2021 – The Birthplace of Canada team is pleased to announce that interpretation and animation in the historic buildings of the Point will return from June 17 to September 25 2021. Sanitary-compliant interpretation zones are in place in all buildings, so customers can safely meet and interact with key historical figures in the city’s history and shop in our souvenir shop. After a summer of closure, Maison Leboutillier will also be reopened to the public four days a week in the form of voluntary contribution tours. Interpretation capsules on the gardens surrounding the house have also been added to the interpretation to enhance the visitor experience. Please note that we don’t take reservations for interpretation.
