Exhibition on the Battle of Vimy, July 22 to 28, 2019
The battle of Vimy takes place during the First World War between 9 and 12 April 1917 in the territories of Vimy and Givenchy-en-Gohelle, near Lens in the Pas-de-Calais.
In order to remember this battle in which several Gaspésiens participated, an exhibition will be in place from 22 to 28 July 2019, in the naval base, on the birthplace of Canada site. The exhibition will be open between 10:30 a.m to 6:00 p.m during this period. We would like to thank Mr. Tom Eden for his valuable collaboration at the exhibition!
