Interpretation and animation
There are several options for visiting the Birthplace of Canada site, to suit all tastes!
Self-guided tours: our guide-interpreters in period costume will be back to welcome visitors to all the buildings on the site from June 2, 2025. All you have to do is turn up during opening hours, no reservations required.
For this type of self-guided tour, we are appealing to your generosity for voluntary contributions. Boxes are available in all buildings for visitors to drop off their donations themselves. Contributions are essential to the sustainability of our activities and help support our non-profit organization in its mission to preserve our heritage.
A guided tour (45-60 min): one of our interpreter-guides accompanies you along the route between the various buildings on the site, offering historical information and anecdotes about Pointe O’Hara and the people who have shaped its history.
